Building Life Momentum

Helping turn your Ideas + Knowledge into Action

You’re likely here because you’re stuck in an area of your life

It’s NOT a trivial problem….. if it was, you’d have solved it already!

I don’t want to waste your time, so to start, I have listed the most common problems I work on with my clients.

I’ve structured this page to help you:

  1. Quickly address if I can help with the problems you’re struggling with.

  2. Get a feel for what it’s like to work with me… directly from my clients (testimonials)

  3. Understand what results you can achieve by seeing examples from clients.

  4. Learn about why I do this through my mission, values and beliefs.

  5. See if you’re the type of person my approach and methods works well with

There is more information on this site, but the above should give you an idea if I’m the kind of person to help make the progress you want.

If you make it to the end and relate, you may well be a good fit!

Let’s jump in….

The problems I help solve:

Which do you have?

(The more you tick off, the more impactful working with me will likely be.)

  • You’re stuck in a career that you find unfulfilling. You have ideas you want to explore, and other careers you’d like to try, but you don’t know how to make the switch and you’re scared about the risks associated with the change.

  • You’re stuck in research mode, constantly consuming information about what you’d like to do but have not made any tangible progress. You find yourself talking about it and getting excited, but the needle still hasn’t moved, it’s still stuck at 0.

  • You feel like you’re drifting through life with no purpose or direction. It’s painful because you know you have potential and could do so much more but you don’t know how to access that side of you. You want to find direction but you don’t know where to start.

  • You’ve wanted to build a personal brand and create content, but you can’t bring yourself to do it. You fear judgment, you’re a perfectionist and you fear failure. You really want to know if you could make an income from this but you haven’t made any progress.

  • You have some business ideas, but you’re all talk and no action. You’ve sat on these ideas for months, if not years and you have nothing to show for it. You doubt if it will work, but if you had started when you had the idea, you’d already know. Enough is enough it’s time to get it started.

  • You have little to no self-discipline. Time-wasting and constantly scrolling on social media. You know it’s bad for you but you can’t stop yourself. It’s a contagion and runs through multiple areas of your life; your health, your work, your finances and your relationships.

You want to fix it and get organised but every time you’ve tried, you’ve burnt yourself out, or lost motivation.

  • You constantly start new projects, always highly motivated and excited, but it soon fades, you get bored, you lose motivation and you stop before seeing it through. This is not a one-off, it’s happened numerous times. It is so pervasive, not only YOU know it, but all of your friends/family recognise that behaviour in you too.

  • You constantly doubt your own capabilities, your self-confidence is at an all time low and you know you won’t get anywhere or achieve the goals you have with this mindset. It is often linked with some of the reasons above, because you never see things through and constantly talk but don’t act.

You have nothing to back up what you say.

How many did you tick off?

One of the reasons I work on these problems with clients so much is because I have suffered from each and every one of the above problems throughout my journey.

In the process of finding my way through the forest, I have built systems, approaches and methods to help others, so they don’t have to be as lost as I was. My passion and purpose is to help people navigate through this.

What’s it like to work with me?

Problem: Felt stuck in career. Had ideas to pursue but scared about the risk of transitioning.

Jodie, a comms manager, was unfulfilled in a long term corporate career, (+10 years)

She was looking for a move into something more fulfilling, but got overwhelmed with the next steps and was paralysed by the fear and risk involved with a change.

Alexandra, a writer, had lots of ideas but didn’t know which to pursue

Being a creative, she had so many ideas but the options made her freeze and not able to act on any of them. The more she thought about them the more she felt stuck.

Results

I am a no-bullshit coach. My goal is to help create real-world results. This is a fundamental requirement of my philosophy and approach.

To build true self-belief, we have to create a stack of undeniable evidence that we are who we say we are.

It is much easier to lean on the building you’ve built with your hands and personally crafted, than the one that lives in your mind.

What we were able to achieve together:

Results 1: Career Change - Jodie

Jodie wanted to work with animals, specifically wildlife conservation, but had NO relevant experience. It was a pipe-dream for years. Coming from corporate life in the power generation industry, it couldn’t be further from where she dreamed of going….

She couldn’t see how it was possible for a transition to take place given the position she was starting from. Her belief at this point was close to ZERO.

We crafted a strategy of the move, and a comprehensive roadmap to make it happen….one that she could back with her risk-averse nature. We embarked on the journey together and the rest is history…

Results 2: Self-Doubt and confidence - Enid

Enid had been running her team for the Far East division of her company. She had lost her confidence, was crippled with self-doubt and struggled finding her voice in a global leadership team with strong, dominant characters.

She really wanted to turn this around and be a leader her team would feel inspired by. It took a lot of work but together we made significant progress…. so much so, she has now been offered and has accepted her dream position….

Building a personal brand & online business: Joe

Joe was working full-time but dreamed of being able to entertain people on TV. He’d done some part time acting, and had a dormant youtube channel with 2 shaky phone videos over the span of 8 years to show for it. He was crippled with self-doubt and fear of judgement.

He wanted to share his passion for entertaining and helping people on social media and find out if he could make an income from it. Our mission was to once and for all, find out if this was a viable path for him.

We started from 0 followers and built him up to over 130,000 followers on social media.

After just a few months, we got him his first brand deal for over 5 figures, and now has multiple brand deals totalling over 6 figures. ($USD) under his belt.

We have validated his dream, and are now working on phase 2, a TV series…. watch this space.

Self-Doubt and career progression: James

James, working in the cybersecurity space. Experienced in his field, but had high levels of imposter syndrome due to lack of higher education qualifications. He was paralysed by his own feelings around self-worth.

We completely reframed his mindset, built his confidence up, built a program of actions to fill the gaps of his knowledge and held him accountable for the execution, once an action plan was established and he started to make progress, his momentum was unstoppable. It was quite the sight to behold!

After working together we were able to achieve a 4X increase in his salary, after 3 strategic job moves.

He definitely knows what he’s worth now, and he continues to hone his ideal life setup.

Career progression: Adam

Adam, working in the food and beverage sector. He struggled to feel valued in his role. He suffered from low self-worth and could not see a future that made him excited.

We worked on a game-plan to get him into a new role where he would be able to leverage his skillset, grow and expand his skills, and improve his salary.

He secured a job with a 33% salary increase, the biggest jump in his salary for over 7 years.

At the time of writing, he is preparing for his first day, he’s excited and looking forward to what the future holds.

Creating a passion business: Kari

Kari, an accountant, was struggling to figure out what’s next in her life after her children had grown up and left the nest.

She wanted to do something that she cared about, had a passion for, had room to grow and could make money. This also had to be balanced with maintaining current lifestyle and security of work and heathcare benefits.

It was a complex puzzle to solve but through our journey together, we navigated job switches, life move and she found her love for needlepoint. She then started an online and in-person business teaching needlepoint.

She is now partway through her master Needlepointer program and excited about elevating her new found business.

My Mission:

To help people fulfil their potential and live a life they can be proud of by taking action on their goals.

Things that are important to me

Being curious and trying new things

Living life in alignment with what I believe

Being able to move forward despite being scared

Being my real self around people

Using what I learn to help others move forward in their lives

Giving myself regular playtime and having fun

Finding people I connect with

What I do:

I’m a coach helping people build the next chapter of their lives.

My work specialises in helping to establish a direction to take your life and bridging the gap between knowledge and action.

Focus areas:

  • Gaining clarity on your next move

  • Building practical action plans to get you moving with concentration on emotional regulation

  • Shifting from knowledge to your first steps in taking action

  • Building long term habits to complete the change

What I believe:

It’s possible to move forward despite the paralysing fear you experience.

There is always a way improve ourselves in ways we can’t imagine.

We often need to suspend our beliefs and act first.

A level of pain and discomfort are a necessary price to fulfil your potential.

and the key to succeeding is to find a compatible system that helps you navigate this.

How I like to work:

I am no-nonsense, I am focused on helping you get the results you want.

We always find a way, but we do so in an internally compassionate way that feels right challenging but possible.

Operating in a world where you are constantly overwhelmed or too anxious doesn’t often get you the results, plus it’s incredibly unpleasant!

We find the perfect place for you, where you feel challenged, but every step always feels manageable. This results in tangible progress which you begin to see early on.

Your motivation drastically starts to improve because you start generating unquestionable belief that you are capable.

We build momentum this way and 'it’s a real pleasure to be on the ride with you as this process occurs.

About me

To help understand if I’m the kind of person you’ll likely resonate with, here’s some insight into what’s going on in my mind:

I am fascinated (and obsessed) with the intersection between our emotions and our ability to act. This has driven me to go deeper than I ever could have imagined into the world I operate in.

I have spent over a decade unravelling this area of the mind, to not only understand how it works but to create practical systems and tools that I could use on myself to take me to places I could only have dreamed of.

As a byproduct, I found these systems and tools were useful for others in the same boat as me. After making changes to my life, people around me noticed and the first volunteers stepped forward….

…I was asked if I could assist them in their journey as they were stuck like I was. I realised with some adaptation to the systems and tools they could be just as effective for others too.

I fell in love with the process of refining and optimising these systems that allowed people to make the big life changes they wanted but couldn’t make happen themselves.

The desire for me to constantly improve something I loved, meant spending thousands of hours researching, testing, and optimising all the systems and tools I was developing.

The product of this was faster than ever results for people I worked with.

It has truly been a positive sum game for me. A way to elevate myself in something I love, whilst helping people get to the place in life they’ve only dreamed of.

A major problem:

I have observed a new epidemic. A rise of access to knowledge causing a problem I refer to as mental obesity.

We have boundless access to the highest qulality of informaiton as well as a broad seleciton of knowledge in maby domains.

This vhange in the past 10 years is exponentisl

The amount of knowledg one could consume could be regarded as infinite.

What has not

Who I work with

Making big life changes is hard. If it were easy you wouldn’t be here.

Having spoken to over 3,000 people and worked with hundreds of people from all over the globe, different backgrounds and different industries, I’ve learnt what works with my methods and what does not.

To get the changes you want we need to have a good fit. Hopefully you will have gained some insight into the way I like to think and what’s possible.

I am looking to work with people who with my help can really elevate themselves to new places. These types of people have the following qualities:

  • Open to new ideas and methods

  • Really embrace the idea of growth

  • Are willing to try and commit to a process

  • Are ambitious

  • Wiling to reflect on their own behaviours and accept flaws

  • Feel ready to make a drastic change in their life and CANNOT accept staying where they are right now.

  • Work well with direct 1:1 accountability

If you think this might just work for you, fill in the application for below and if you’re a good fit you’ll be given an option to book an initial chat directly with me so we can find out if we can get you achieving your goals :-)

Courses

Problem: Access to my coaching can only be done through 1:1 and occasionally small group. I have limited time to help people and often have extended waiting lists. It is also cost prohibitive to many.

Solution: Consolidate coaching systems, methods and tools, into a scalable product that is not limited by my time.

I’m currently in the final stages of completing my latest iteration of courses designed to help people navigate the most difficult life challenges we face at an affordable price. These encompass my experience and the solutions developed working with hundreds of clients and over 4000 hours of coaching.

These are designed to serve those that work well with self-learn learning style.

To be able to help people at scale, this is the most effective way for me to do it. It has taken hundred and hundreds of hours refining and testing the content contained.

Books - Three monkeys

Problem: Self-development and psychology principles can be difficult to remember, feel too academic/theoretical. When trying to apply it to your real-world scenarios, it often doesn’t help as much as you hope.

Solution: Use the power of story to transform these principles into fun, relatable and memorable ideas that are truly practical and immediately usable in your everyday life.

By popular request, I am putting together a series of books based on my flagship Three Monkeys concept.

This is a concept completely developed through my real-world experiences and accumulated knowledge. It has been THE most effective mental model for my clients in navigating their biggest life challenges.

Turning the ideas into a relatable story with a strong and fun narrative makes it naturally VERY easy to remember.

The concept is useful for ALL ages. (Tried and tested with clients and their families!)

The concept also breaks down the barrier between adult and child, providing a completely flat hierarchy to explain your emotions, why you do what you do, and how you can improve your behaviours.

The concepts have been used with my clinical psychologist clients and they love it, it is a truly unique and refreshing take on self-development and a concept you won’t have ever come across before.

They will be simple and fun to read picture books…. think Mr Men!

There will be a range of colouring books too. These will be giving you multiple benefits.

  • They’re fun!

  • A truly mindful exercise

  • You will be reminded of the concepts while you are colouring, engraining the messages even further

  • Ownership, colouring it your way, will remind you how you are unique.

  • A collectible item

This is BY FAR the most exciting thing I am building. I can’t wait for you to have it :-)

Merchandise - Toys and tools

Problem: When you close the book, complete the course, finish the video, and get on with life, it’s easy to forget the important principles you want to practise. Out of sight out of mind.

Solution: Having visual cues in your immediate environment will act as mental anchors to keep you thinking about the concepts you want to keep front of mind.

To accompany the three monkeys book series, there will be a release of merch to go with it. One of the most important factors in adopting behaviour change is keeping the new behaviours and thoughts current. Having visual triggers nearby will help keep the principles closest to you.

The following are in the pipeline:

Plushies:

  • The three Monkeys: Explorer, Worker, Accountant

  • Ollie the Octopus

  • Scarecrow

  • Mr Pickles

  • Hawk

  • Mouse

  • Caterpillar

  • Butterfly

  • Panic Monster

Desk merch:

  • Mugs

  • T-shirts

  • Hoodies

  • Posters
